«Rebgarten» development
Mettler Entwickler AG took over the properties in the perimeters of the Rebgarten neighbourhood plan and developed an innovative investment project for an institutional investor.
The utilisation concept aimed to create age-friendly living space supplemented by various services. According to the specifications of the city of Liestal, the construction of a public neighbourhood car park was also part of the project. In addition, particular emphasis was placed on upgrading the open space along the Orisbächlein stream in order to make this area more attractive for passers-by and thus help revitalise the neighbourhood.
In the first construction area, the plan is to demolish the existing structure and replace it with a modern new building. This new building, in combination with the developments in construction areas 2 and 3, will enrich the site with 66 retirement apartments – including a caretaker’s apartment. In addition, 40 care stations and service areas totalling around 270 m² of gross floor area and an inviting bistro with a gross floor area of around 110 m² are planned. As the operator of the nursing home, Tertianum AG will play a central role in this future-orientated living and care concept that is dedicated to meeting the needs of its residents.
